I created this article as I figured it would be an important storm at that time, but I now see it for what it is. Hector is simply a fish storm of little to no importance whatsoever. With that being said, I propose the article be deleted. FigfiresSend me a message!17:02, 12 August 2018 (UTC)[reply]
Comment: It is already covered in the seasonal article (Im sure some additions/adjustments would be needed). It simply isnt important enough to have an article of its own. FigfiresSend me a message!17:33, 12 August 2018 (UTC)[reply]
Not sure why you opened an AFD then; a simple merge proposal would do. "Importance" isn't an appropriate word to be quite frank, largely because storm articles are sub-articles of the season that got split off when nessecary, and thus it's easy to see a situation where a shorter article could be written on a storm that killed 15 people in 1985 compared to 2015. Right now, the MH is 853 words, way too long to fit in the season section (although I'll look into cutting it down later). YEPacificHurricane17:40, 12 August 2018 (UTC)[reply]
