Comment: If slightly simplify the logo - remove the glimpses of black in the letters - it will still meet the requirements for logos in terms of illustrative ability; it will also be free in both the US and South Korea. Therefore, the real logo will not meet the requirements of the first paragraph WP:NFCC. — Ирука¹³ 08:59, 19 September 2023 (UTC)

Sorry I'm not quite sure what you mean - the logo is the official logo. Editing it to remove the glimpses of black in the letters would be modifying it and would tarnish or misrepresent the image. I've read the first paragraph of WP:NFCC and there is no free equivalent to the official logo that wouldn't misrepresent the image (people would think the modified logo is the official logo). That category on Commons is for the main Squid Game logo. Squid Game: The Challenge is an official spin-off reality programme, which has its own logo and doesn't solely use the pre-existing Squid Game logo. As a separate entity, having the Squid Game: The Challenge logo on the article will actually help differentiate it from the main Squid Game article - assuring readers they've reached the right article containing critical commentary about the programme, and illustrate the programme's intended branding in a way that words alone could not convey.
