I believe the additions are very informative. Nevertheless, I have some minor complaints: (i) One small mistake: There are two vice chancellors (no mention of Corina Casanova).[2] (ii) Could you provide some examples for the "numerous constitutional conventions"? (iii) Regarding the immunity of the Councillors: One should also mention the responsibilty of the Councillors for crimes committed in connection with their office (article 14 of the Verantwortlichkeitsgesetz).[3]--Idefix 20:57, 3 March 2006 (UTC)[reply]

• Thank you for the input. I'll try to address this. As to origins, I don't think there is much to say: it's an office created by the 1848 Federal Constitution. The history, on the other hand, is lacking in the article. Sandstein 05:26, 17 March 2006 (UTC)[reply]
