These are cross-namespace redirects from mainspace to category space, about project/template business. All-time usage is negligible and I recommend delete. Pageviews are at https://tools.wmflabs.org/pageviews/?project=en.wikipedia.org&platform=all-access&agent=user&start=2015-07&end=2018-12&pages=Latest_stable_software_release_templates|Latest_stable_software_release_template, but I can't work out how to encode vertical bar Shhhnotsoloud (talk) 14:56, 26 January 2019 (UTC)[reply]
In a raw link the vertical bar works just fine, I just copied yours above to:

Per WP:RDEL #5: Redirect makes no sense - thefts are not synonymous with the specific act of robbing a bank. As there is no article on a list of notable thefts as yet to which this redirect can be pointed towards, this redirect should be deleted. ― A Poor Historian (talk) 13:04, 26 January 2019 (UTC)[reply]
That reinforces the argument for deleting these redirects. If the intended target for these redirects has not yet been created, then these redirects are completely unnecessary and should be removed per WP:RDEL #7. They can always be recreated once the primary article has been written. ― A Poor Historian (talk) 08:31, 27 January 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Comment I've now replaced the only use of the 'Wikipedia's First Commandment' redirect, and I've no problem with deleting it. I've no views either way about deleting the other redirects. Tlhslobus (talk) 08:29, 26 January 2019 (UTC)[reply]
Delete Without evidence of a pressing need, such as demonstrated user traffic, delete all of this. I previously advocated in 2014 at Wikipedia:Redirects_for_discussion/Log/2014_December_5#Wikipedia/Education_program for keeping some links which a third party publication mistakenly published linking the wrong pages. Now I regret that view, and think that we should expect publications to correct themselves and not for Wikipedia to accommodate them. In other cases, like Wikipedia's help pages, if these concepts ever meet notability then of course mainspace encyclopedic coverage will take priority over redirects even if many users search for the Wikipedia space in these. For these others, we have no evidence that any significant number of users would be disrupted by applying the usual rules and deleting them. Blue Rasberry (talk)16:23, 26 January 2019 (UTC)[reply]
