The Living people workgroup is a group of members of the Biography WikiProject dedicated to ensuring biographical articles of living people strictly adhere to our policy on biographies of living persons (BLPs). The tasks of this working group include categorizing articles, maintenance tagging, checking for and removing unsourced contentious claims, and initiating and participating in deletion discussions for BLPs. This page centralizes all tasks relating to BLPs.

Since biographies are potentially under the purview of almost all WikiProjects, it is important that we work in tandem with these projects. Also, when seeking collaboration on articles, don't neglect to approach WikiProjects that are part of the geographical region your subject is/was in.
According to the BLP policy, BLPs should contain no negative, unsourced claims. Any contentious material that is not supported by reliable sources should be immediately removed per BLP policy.
AgnosticPreachersKid (talk·contribs) - I'm a recent convert to the Church of BLP. I'll help with checking categories, 'see also' sections, and external links. Those areas are sometimes plagued with insinuations, rumors, POV, and guilt by association.
Alison (talk·contribs) - I've seen too much pain and anguish from BLP subjects in my work on Oversight and OTRS to ignore the problems.
Ernstblumberg (talk·contribs) - Advocate for rights of living people. NPOV and agendas. Helping others to Be Bold and defend the rights of living and dead.
Khani100 (talk·contribs) - Hi, I have done a little work on some BLPs from South Asia, especially Pakistan, and am interested in ensuring higher standards in this category.
Leahtwosaints (talk·contribs)- Edit biographies (and photos) of musicians; tired of cheering on new users for starting articles, rather than finishing them, or at least referencing them. 98% of my editing is biographical.
Meloras (talk·contribs) - I have expanded more than 6 living people biographies since December 2018 & will continue to do so. I have created 1 biography and removed Stub status from 3 pages. I also removed the out-of-context articles after checking the original sources, fixed and added reliable sources to the pages, and fixed the translations. I disapprove controversial articles and sensationalism.
