This work group deals specifically with Canadian comics, their creators and related businesses and events. Canada tends to be very broad in what it considers to be "Canadian", and the Joe Shuster Award selection criteria reflects this by including Canadian citizens living abroad, and non-citizens living long-term in Canada.
