Welcome to WikiProject Dorset, a project dedicated to improving Wikipedia coverage of the English county, Dorset. Our goals are to improve existing articles and create needed articles regarding Dorset.

• 17 May 2017: Puddletown promoted to Good article.
• 4 November 2016: Rempstone Stone Circle promoted to Good article.
• 30 October 2016: Nine Stones, Winterbourne Abbas promoted to Good article.
• 8 October 2016: Dorchester, Dorset promoted to Good article.
• 28 August 2016: Kingston Lacy promoted to Good article.
• 27 August 2016: Jurassic Coast promoted to Good article.
• 11 June 2016: Dorset Ooser promoted to Featured article.
• 12 June 2015: Dorset Ooser promoted to Good article.
• 25 May 2015: Arts University Bournemouth needs attention. Rating hasn’t been reviewed since 2009 and requires more photographs. Visit here for an explanation.
• 30 September 2013: Bournemouth was promoted to Good article.
• 15 January 2013: Cerne Abbas Giant was promoted to Good article.
• 18 August 2012: Dorset was promoted to Featured article.
• 29 June 2012: Dorset has been nominated at Featured article candidates
• 31 January 2012: Dorset peer review completed and available here.
• 21 January 2012: Dorset nominated for peer review.
• 20 August 2011: Dorset promoted to good article status, becoming the project's sixth good article.
• 14 February 2011: Christchurch, Dorset promoted to good article status, becoming the project's fifth good article.
• 6 February 2011: Dorset has been put up for peer review.
• 8 January 2011: Christchurch, Dorset has been nominated for good article status.
• October 2010: Dorset demoted from FA status following a featured article review.
• August 10 2009: Dorset needs attention. Visit here for an explanation.
• June 9 2009: Congratulations to the work of User:Nev1 and other editors, who have helped Maiden Castle, Dorset achieve GA status. Another great piece of writing to add to the growing numbers of WP: Dorset! I'm sure that over the coming months we will see many more join the ranks.
• June 1 2009: The Dorset coat of arms, which previously appeared on Template:WPDorset (to the left of the Dorset Portal), has been removed and is pending renewal.
• February 21 2009: WikiProject is created by User:MasterOfHisOwnDomain

Usage
