Article assessments help project members prioritise improvements to articles related to ecoregions. Project members should assess articles according to the importance and quality scales given below, and then record the results using the {{WikiProject Ecoregions}} project template on the article talk page. E.g.

{{WikiProject Ecoregions|class=C|importance=mid}}

After assessing an article, you may want to place it on your watchlist for a while, and reassess the article if you see major improvements. New articles often take a few days or weeks before they stabilize, and may improve considerably during this period.

Importance[edit]

The importance scale is used by project members in prioritizing improvement efforts.
