Deutschmark82 00:10:48, 4 July 2019 (UTC) Since the 30th anniversary of die Wende in the DDR is coming up it, making some more of these articles better or at least more complete seems like a nice way to commemorate it in a very neutral way that contributes something.[reply]
Any article related to this task force should be marked with "GDR=yes" to the {{WikiProject Germany}} project banner at the top of its talk page (see usage instructions for more details on the exact syntax). This will automatically place it into Category:GDR task force articles.
Add categories to GDR-related articles where appropriate. To do this, add a category template like [[Category:East German writers]] to the bottom of the article on Bertolt Brecht, for example. This will place the categorized page into a list like this one. A working list of GDR-related categories can be found here.
Collaborate and join the discussions. If you know things, teach! (If you don't know things, Ask.)
Add new articles! There are plenty of East German topics still unaccounted for!
Expand articles (or merge if appropriate). All of these stubs would welcome further care and attention. Other articles needing expansion and improvement:
