The February 2011 Backlog Elimination Drive was a great success, even though the massive goal of under 18,000 articles was not met. Nearly 600 articles from 2008 were cleared! Leaving only 190 at the end of the drive. The drive started with a backlog of 21,771 articles and finished with 20,886 articles. Although this is only a drop of 900 articles, hundreds are added every week! 1,751 were added just in the month of February!

The March Mini took only 20 days to eliminate the remainder of the backlog. Nihola was the top Wikifier in this drive, receiving a new award created specifically for this drive.
