The course is taken mostly by master's and doctoral level students in psychology, but it is open to other students from related disciplines. Advanced Social Psychology is a deep extension of an undergraduate survey course on the topic. Students are expected to contribute to the course's objectives and materials, to write about their work and findings, and to experience the discipline in various out-of-meeting projects. I hope to involve Wikipedia in the writing component of the course; I would like to have students experience science communication in a real and impacting way beyond just me as the reader.
