I explained this at the ANI discussion, but I use the red background for competitors who have been disqualified at the end of the round, because they didn't receive enough points. The purple background is for competitors who have been removed in the middle of the round, either voluntarily or not. So I am a little confused on when the cut off for promoting stuff is. So the rules make it seem that anything promoted before April 28th is to be promoted this round and can be claimed on the 28th.
