Swiss (and other countries) women composers[edit]

Recently, an editor has been moving my articles from (for example) “Swiss women composers” to “Swiss composers.” Are we no longer using “[country] women composers” as a category? Is there a list of approved or active categories? I would appreciate information/input about this. Thanks -

Pia Pounds[edit]

Perhaps someone from this WikiProject could take a look at Pia Pounds? It was a bit of a mess with all kinds of formatting and syntax errors that I tried to clean up. It also had lots of puffery and other promotional stuff that was unsourced. There might have been some COI editing going on as well. -- Marchjuly (talk) 15:06, 19 April 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Elizabeth or Beth Goodfellow draft questions for notability[edit]

need help on a draft. can somebody please look and provide feedback for draft development to get it accepted into article space. Diatom.phage (talk) 20:23, 2 May 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Beth Goodfellow is a drummer and percussionist.
Draft:Elizabeth Goodfellow (musician)
I find her playing with many of my favorite performers. She is mentioned on wikipedia pages as being drummer on various famous people's recordings and touring with them. She lacks a wikipedia entry. I initially under referenced her entry I created, and it was rejected. So I am now attempting to find references and added to the draft and resubmitted it. I read MANY articles on Wikipedia on notability. I see that notability has criteria, but also that it is subjective. I found that she meets the criteria. I think the current version as of today 05-02-2024 has plenty of references establishing how she meets the notability requirements. I read about reference bombing and now worry I am doing that. I entered many of my arguments for the position of promotion to article on the draft talk page for Goodfellow.
She is not a star, but a super popular drummer for MANY stars. She has solo projects, and she has appeared in movies and on TV supporting these stars (Jimmy Kimmel show and Colbert for example). She tours with famous people, and currently tours with Iron and Wine, which has several musicians of note.
I would love some help. I am a fan or Goodfellow, but never met her. Also I wrote General Hershy Bar entry awhile back to show my relative non-manipulative good faith position. Despite that, I am over my head in the deep waters here. Thanks!

Like a drummer member of a band is important, but not someone that many write articles about all the time. The lead gets all the press. But Goodfellow is getting chosen by SO many greats as a drummer that this is her fundamental notability. Diatom.phage (talk) 20:31, 2 May 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Hi all! A couple months ago, I submitted the above article for a peer review with the hopes of getting it featured. The link is at Wikipedia:Peer review/Not Strong Enough (Boygenius song)/archive1; if anyone is interested, I would love any feedback I can get on how to improve the article to where it is the best it can be :) Dylan620 (he/him • talkedits) 20:52, 2 May 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Bridgit Mendler[edit]

There is a discussion at Bridgit Mendler about including the University of Southern California in the infobox's education parameter. It can be found at Talk:Bridgit Mendler#Education. Input from project members would be very much appreciated. Thanks, Lord Sjones23 (talk - contributions) 04:36, 25 May 2024 (UTC)[reply]

List of South Korean girl groups, which is within the scope of this WikiProject, has an RfC for possible consensus. A discussion is taking place.
