EN
The UNFPA Family Planning Strategy 2012-2020: Choices not Chance is a ground-breaking commitment to an area of work at the heart of our mission. It is oriented squarely to the goal of achieving universal access to rights-based voluntary family planning as part of sexual and reproductive health and reproductive rights.
This document presents the context, vision, principles, goals and key actions of this strategy. It outlines how the Fund will engage with all UNFPA programme countries to ensure that the countries receive optimum support for family planning, focusing first on 69 of the poorest countries where the need is greatest.
