Uh, yeah? If your company uses Google for email, calendar, etc., then your boss can force you to use Google calendar.

My company switched to Workday about a year ago. It's generally less shitty than what we had before, but it still isn't good. They're in a market where less shitty is good enough because none of the options are good.

47 are smaller than Texas; Alaska isn't part of that group. 45 is correct though; California and Montana are more than half the size of Texas.

About 18 years for me. I tried Ubuntu 6.06, but it didn't work quite well enough yet, so I stuck with Windows XP. I tried again with 8.04, and I've been using it ever since.

The advantage of Java (and c#) is that it can be used by large teams without messing things up too badly.
Hahaha.
Oh, wait, you were serious. Let me laugh harder.
Hahahahahahaha.
Bad programmers will write bad code in any language. Good programmers will write good code in pretty much any language. No language will force bad programmers to write good code.

And, ironically, back in the mid 1980s... I'd have had about 15K in debt. Less than today's 30K.
Not really. Some random website with an inflation calculator says $15k in 1985 would be about $45k in 2025, significantly more than today's $30k.

That only applies to laws that make something illegal and then prosecuting someone for doing that something before the law was enacted. You can read some of the explanations.

In the US, here are the true left-wingers: Sanders, Ocasio-Cortez, Mamdani, and not very many others. Not Biden, not Obama, or any of the others on the list that right-wingers love to hate.
To add to this, people like Sanders aren't crazy left-wing extremists, either. In most other developed countries, they would be mainstream left-wingers.

There needs to be more right-leaning voices in the media.
Yes, the media definitely needs to replace the right-wing extremists with "right-leaning" voices.

Since this was a case of mistaken identity, it's going to be very hard to prove knowledge of falsity or reckless disregard.
The summary says that it was someone with the same last name but a different first name. It's a pretty reasonable argument for reckless disregard when simply checking the first names of the two people would have solved the mistaken identity problem.

The issue isn't knowing what a beach ball looks like, it's that there isn't a single standard size, so using it as a unit of measure is useless. The other balls that were listed are all used in professional sports, so they have a specific size. A beach ball could have a diameter anywhere between 0.25 meters and 1.5 meters.

Attached to: Why One Man Is Fighting For Our Right To Control Our Garage Door Openers
All I want is to be able to open and close my door from my car and inside the garage.
You're assuming that everyone has an attached garage. I have to keep a remote on top of the clothes dryer by the back door to the house to open the garage door. And the garage door is only visible from inside the house if the back door is open, so it's a bit of a pain to check if the garage door is open or not.
I looked at the RATGDO a while ago, but decided the convenience wasn't quite worth the price. I may easily change my mind in the future, though.
