The problem with people who still think the COVID shot is effective and necessary (not to mention safe) is that they need for COVID-19 to have been a super deadly pathogen that would have killed half or more of the planet, if it weren't for the vaccine. This is so they can rationalize their fear and justify calling family members "murderers", and calling for the people refusing the jab to be locked up. Unfortunately, for them (you), the truth is they needlessly became raving lunatics from all the fear mongering they listened to.
COVID was slightly worse than the flu, and continues to lose potency. Our own immune systems were adequate to achieve "herd immunity."

changing the rules and laws that got us to this problem point.
How about enforcing the existing laws? This is exactly what the previous administration refused to do -- in fact, their policies ran counter to existing law. Enforcing immigration law is one of the platforms the GOP ran on in 2024, and its what they're doing now. They've fucked up bigly in a few instances, to be sure, but they're actually doing what they said they would.
