The photo is too big. Can anyone shrink it? FWBOarticle 11:55, 14 February 2006 (UTC)Reply

Someone has fucked up the singles and the albums tables. Ortac (talk) 21:26, 26 February 2008 (UTC)Reply

Guitar Song... Moi Non Plus

edit

Can anyone confirm that Guitar Song, from Texas' greatest hits album features a sample of J'et Aime... Moi Non Plus by Serge Gainsbourg?

Radical AdZ 19:36, 10 July 2007 (UTC)Reply

Yes, It says so in the booklet in the Greatest Hits. - Ortac 21:30 GMT, 8 November 2007 —Preceding comment was added at 21:32, 8 November 2007 (UTC)Reply

"Summer Son" vs. "Summer Sun"

edit

Which is the proper name for the song, "Summer Son" or "Summer Sun"? Even the article contradicts itself.

pyksy (talk) 19:26, 12 March 2008 (UTC)Reply

Ok I guess "Summer Son" it is.

The Office

edit

The article says that Texas used to open for Foregone Conclusion. But I believe that the actual dialog from the show says, "...we were once supported by a little-known Scottish outfit called Texas." Does that imply that Texas opened for them? I always thought of it as meaning that the fame and popularity of Texas supported Foregone Conclusion, as they were opening for Texas. I can see it both ways now, but I was just wondering if anyone else out there had the same impression as me. CharacterZero | Speak 23:05, 22 February 2009 (UTC)Reply

Like Lovers (Holding On) from Titan A.E. OST

edit

Yes, the song is played in its entirety during the end credits of Titan A.E. However, the song is also used in the background during the shower scene when the Valkyrie docks for supplies at the human drifter colony. According to the special features on the Titan A.E. DVD producer Glen Ballard approached Texas to perform a song he co-wrote with Johnny Mac that would portray an important change seen in Cale as he discovers what it truly means to be human. —Preceding unsigned comment added by Xiphan (talkcontribs) 22:03, 29 December 2009 (UTC)Reply

Awful article

edit

Most of this article is a summary of chart statistics written out. A table would do. Pzzp (talk) 05:39, 8 May 2011 (UTC)Reply

not too smart

edit

"Texas are a Scottish pop band from Glasgow, Scotland." Are you sure a Scottish band is from Scotland? Bit of amateur writing — Preceding unsigned comment added by 94.2.215.140 (talk) 02:38, 31 October 2012 (UTC)Reply

'alternative rock'

edit

No way are Texas an 'alternative' to mainstream rock...you could class them as 'pop' and that would be closer to the truth than 'alternative rock'. I've reverted the 'alternative rock' description. Vauxhall1964 (talk) 11:51, 13 July 2013 (UTC)Reply

"Former members: Ally McErlaine"

edit

There appears to be nothing in the text about McErlaine leaving the group. Harfarhs (talk) 16:09, 23 June 2023 (UTC)Reply
