The wiki text below, is outdated, and doesn't match any of the census data, nor is it a valid metric as it is a voluntary community survey used by only 80 million people. This does not match the current US Census data. Here is the current data and link: English 12.5% (mixed ancestry white 19.8%) German 7.6% (19.1%) Irish 5.3% (16.4%) Italian 3.2% (7.1%) Polish 1.3% (3.7) French 0.8% (3.4%) Scottish 0.7% (3.6%) https://www.census.gov/library/visualizations/interactive/detailed-race-ethnicities-2020-census.html
