== L.J. Mazzilli == |

Can you do me a favor? On the template for the RailRiders roster, I've been trying to "wikify" L.J. Mazzilli's name on there. He has his own page, but I can't seem to get rid of the red letters. == Brewers Pirates == |
I want to know why you believe that the Brewers Pirates rivalry should be deleted. I don't believe the saying, just because they play each other each year makes it a rivalry. Of course it is a rivalry!!!!!!! In my opinion, if the end result is semi-close between the two teams, and they are in each other's division, it is a rivalry. I don't know if that is what you believe in, but anyways, I want to know why you don't want such a great idea for a new draft on Wikipedia. |

:{{u|MW36mathfights}}, I am not aware of a single [[WP:RS|reliable source]] that discussed Brewers/Pirates as a "rivalry". Just because they're in the same division doesn't make it a rivalry. – [[User:Muboshgu|Muboshgu]] ([[User talk:Muboshgu#top|talk]]) 00:47, 18 February 2019 (UTC) |

Hello, |

Colorado SOS Jena Griswold isn't married anymore. Her personal bio in the [https://www.denverpost.com/2018/10/10/colorado-secretary-of-state-candidate-questionnaire/ Denver Post candidate questionnaire] doesn't list a spouse. There's no news story to cite, but she lives with her partner, Mario Cañedo. :{{u|Rathmones}}, I don't doubt that. But, Wikipedia policy is [[Wikipedia:Verifiability]], and more specifically, [[Wikipedia:Verifiability, not truth|"verifiability, not truth"]]. There is a news story to cite about her marrying Mohamed Enab in 2014. We don't delete that just because they're divorced. We need to have a citation that verifies that they are no longer married. That Villager Publishing source isn't enough. – [[User:Muboshgu|Muboshgu]] ([[User talk:Muboshgu#top|talk]]) 16:04, 21 March 2019 (UTC) |

===Elections=== |
Gonzalez declared his congressional candidacy for the 2016 general election after then Congressman Rubén Hinojosa (D-TX-15) announced he would not seek reelection.[6] In a crowded race, he won the Democratic primary and Democratic party nomination, defeating Juan “Sonny” Palacios in a runoff election.[7][8][9] He defeated Republican Tim Westley in the November 2016 general election, winning 57.3% of the vote to Westley's 37.7%.[10] Gonzalez won his re-election in 2018 with 60% of the vote against Westley for a second time. |
===Tenure=== |
In the 115th Congress, Gonzalez was appointed to the exclusive House Financial Services Committee. In the 116th Congress, he serves on the Subcommittees on Investor Protection, Entrepreneurship, and Capital Markets; Housing, Community Development, and Insurance; and Diversity and Inclusion. In the 116th Congress, House Speaker Nancy Pelosi granted him a waiver to jointly serve on the House Foreign Affairs Committee. Congressman Gonzalez is a member of the Subcommittees on the Western Hemisphere, Civilian Security, and Trade; and Europe, Eurasia, Energy, and the Environment. |
[12] Gonzalez is a member of the Blue Dog Coalition, the New Democrat Coalition,[13] and the Problem Solvers Caucus.[14] In June 2017, he announced the formation of the Congressional Oil & Gas Caucus[15] and serves as its Chairman. He is also a member of the Congressional Hispanic Caucus, the Congressional Small Business Caucus, and the Congressional Blue Collar Caucus, among others. |
During Gonzalez’s first six months in office, he brought then Democratic Leader Nancy Pelosi to Texas’ Rio Grande Valley to discuss border security, immigration, and trade on the U.S.-Mexico Border. He was also the first Texas Democrat and first Latino in the U.S. Congress to be invited by President Donald J. Trump to a private dinner at the White House. He has met with President Trump on more than five occasions to discuss issues of mutual interest. [16] |
In the 115th Congress, Gonzalez participated in bipartisan and bicameral congressional delegations to a variety of countries around the globe. In Japan, he met with Japanese Prime Minister, H.E. Shinzo Abe, and Japanese First Lady, Akie Abe. He also met with Japanese Minister of Foreign Affairs, Taro Kono, as well as U.S. Ambassador to Japan, Bill Hagerty, and other respective government officials. In Guatemala, he met with President Jimmy Morales. In Mexico, he met with the Chief of Staff to President Andrés Manuel López Obrador, Alfonso Romo; Mexican Undersecretary of Foreign Trade, Juan Carlos Baker; and Former Secretary of the Economy, Ildefonso Guajardo Villarreal. In China, he met with Vice-Premier of the State Council of the People’s Republic of China, Liu He. In South Korea, he met with members of the U.S. Army, stationed at Camp Humphreys, located within the seaport City of Pyeongtaek. In December 2018, he joined the U.S. delegation attending the Inauguration of Mexican President Andrés Manuel López Obrador. |

Since taking office, Gonzalez has spent every Thanksgiving with members of the U.S. Armed Forces stationed overseas. He spent the holiday with troops stationed in Afghanistan in 2017, and in Kuwait and Djibouti in 2018. |
In January 2019, Gonzalez was one of seven Democratic lawmakers to meet with President Donald Trump and the Administration to put an end to the longest federal government shutdown in U.S. history. |
===Legislative Issues=== |
Since being elected to the House of Representatives, Gonzalez has championed legislation to provide deported veterans with a path to citizenship and allow them to return to the United States. He has also been an advocate for smart, effective border security solutions; lower prescription drug prices; protection for senior citizens; policies that promote strong free trade agreements, and safeguards for farmers and ranchers. |

:{{re|SicParvisMagna16}} I'm going to respond to this on the article's talk page, which I see you've also added this to. – [[User:Muboshgu|Muboshgu]] ([[User talk:Muboshgu#top|talk]]) 19:42, 21 March 2019 (UTC) |

Hope you're doing well. I have a simple question that hopefully you can answer for me. I recently switched the main pictures on [[Ichiro Suzuki|Ichiro]]'s page, and noticed you reverted it, citing the picture that I replaced it with as "inferior." My question is this: what about it makes it inferior? I mean no disrespect at all, as I am just seeking some explanation that I can use on future edits. Thanks again. :{{u|Mannytool}}, no disrespect taken. This is how [[WP:BRD]] is supposed to work! The Marlins photo is a better look at his face, for one thing. I suspect the issue of what the main image should be could be contentious, and it would probably be a good idea to seek community consensus on the article's talk page. – [[User:Muboshgu|Muboshgu]] ([[User talk:Muboshgu#top|talk]]) 19:43, 21 March 2019 (UTC) |

== Deletion of Pages == |
[[JP Gates]], [[Michael Busch (baseball)]], and [[Ashton McGee]] have all revived significant coverage and should be allowed. Also I had added to Ian Gibaut to give him his own page and I don’t see what is wrong with that too. If there is something missing please tell me what to add and I will. |
Thank you, UNC2 [[User:UNC2|UNC2]] ([[User talk:UNC2|talk]]) 22:37, 24 March 2019 (UTC) |
:{{u|UNC2}}, hi. I see that you are new here. We need all the fresh voices we can get, so let me start off by making clear to you that my intent is not to run you off as quickly as you joined. That said, I disagree that those three college players have received "significant coverage". They have received some coverage, but I don't think enough to meet [[WP:GNG]]. You can read up on the process of [[WP:PROD]], to see that you are in your rights to remove the template entirely. At that point, I could nominate the articles for deletion at [[WP:AFD]], which would result in a discussion where people will vote to keep or delete the articles. As far as the Rays prospect, the article content should be contained at [[Ian Gibaut]] if and when the bio is to be split off, not [[Ian Gibaut (baseball)]]. But that individual also is lacking the "significant coverage" at this point that would justify a full article. – [[User:Muboshgu|Muboshgu]] ([[User talk:Muboshgu#top|talk]]) 22:50, 24 March 2019 (UTC) |
As you can see from the resources all three of these players have revived a lot of coverage from reliable sources and there are more sources I can add if you would like. [[User:UNC2|UNC2]] ([[User talk:UNC2|talk]]) 23:06, 24 March 2019 (UTC) |
:{{u|UNC2}}, that is hardly what I would call "significant coverage". I see profile pages from Perfect Game, 247 Sports, and their pages on their collegiate websites. Every player gets one of those, and therefore they don't contribute to GNG. MLB Pipeline's "2019 Prospect Watch" is also not going to contribute much if at all. McGee's page has zero sources that count towards GNG. – [[User:Muboshgu|Muboshgu]] ([[User talk:Muboshgu#top|talk]]) 23:21, 24 March 2019 (UTC) |
I see about the other 2 but Michael Busch has many things written about him and think that he should qualify. [[User:UNC2|UNC2]] ([[User talk:UNC2|talk]]) 00:01, 25 March 2019 (UTC) |
:{{u|UNC2}}, there would have to be more sources than are present in the article, written by secondary publications. As I said, you're free to de-PROD the article if you want to. But then I could nominate it for deletion via AFD. – [[User:Muboshgu|Muboshgu]] ([[User talk:Muboshgu#top|talk]]) 01:05, 25 March 2019 (UTC) |

== Question about IP talkpages == |
104.184.194.154 has removed almost all content from that IP's talkpage - all the warnings etc. Is there a pokicy or guideline that says that users can or cannot remove content from "their" talkpages - when they are posting only from an IP address and not under a username? All that slander/libel/nastiness they were spewing about a dead person is particularly heinous - thanks for staying on top of it. [[User:Shearonink|Shearonink]] ([[User talk:Shearonink|talk]]) 00:01, 25 March 2019 (UTC) |
:{{u|Shearonink}}, there is. [[WP:OWNTALK]] says that you can remove almost anything from your page, with a few exceptions. Block notices aren't covered, but block appeals are included as something you can't remove. – [[User:Muboshgu|Muboshgu]] ([[User talk:Muboshgu#top|talk]]) 00:14, 25 March 2019 (UTC) |
::Ok, yeah I get that, I'll leave it alone. I was just wondering if anons are allowed to edit/delete posts on the talkpage that their IP accesses since it can belong to different users... [[User:Shearonink|Shearonink]] ([[User talk:Shearonink|talk]]) 01:09, 25 March 2019 (UTC) |

== Deletion discussion about [[Evan Marzilli]] == |
Hello, Muboshgu, |
Welcome to Wikipedia! I edit here too, under the username [[User:Onel5969|Onel5969]] and it's nice to meet you :-) |
I wanted to let you know that I've started a discussion about whether an article that you created, Evan Marzilli should be deleted. Your comments are welcome over [[Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Evan Marzilli ]]. |
You might like to note that such [[WP:AFD|discussions]] usually run for seven days and are ''not'' ballot-polls. And, [[WP:DISCUSSAFD|our guide]] about effectively contributing to such discussions is worth a read. Last but not least, you are highly encouraged to continue improving the article; just be sure not to remove the tag about the deletion nomination from the top. |
If you have any questions, please leave a comment here and prepend it with <code><nowiki>{{Re|</nowiki>Onel5969<nowiki>}}</nowiki></code>. And, don't forget to sign your reply with <code><nowiki>~~~~</nowiki></code> . Thanks! |

== [[2019 Chicago mayoral election]] ... quick note == |
Just wanted to provide some info about why I tag pages with bare URLs with a cleanup tag rather than resolving them myself. I don't have the bandwidth currently to spend a lot of time working on individual bare reference, but have sufficient aptitude to tag a page when I notice at least one bare URL so that editors who monitor the cleanup categories for bare URLs cleanup tags can resolve. (In fact, I can name at least three editors who monitor and resolve those categories ... to a point where it constitutes most of their edits.) [[User:Steel1943|<span style="color: #2F4F4F;">'''''Steel1943'''''</span>]] ([[User talk:Steel1943|talk]]) 23:09, 2 April 2019 (UTC) |
*...And I just caught your undo of my recent edit. Usually, the tags don't get removed prior to all cleanup being resolved (especially since there's no guarantee that the work will get picked up if the editor performing the work gets interrupted or ends up doing something else), but anywho, I'll refrain from touching that article for a bit. == Request: Create Discography Guide for Cates, Phoebe == |
Two songs for the 1983 Private School soundtrack and a 1982 album titled Paradise released via CBS Records, should a discography section for this now-retired 80s actress being created is a yes or no? |

Had done this to subject's talk page but didn't receive any replies yet unfortunately. But first look at that query for a few minutes and insert your thoughts. |

The reason why this has been brung up is from the fact that no one has replied to that improvement in three months on subject's talk page. Main story is one of the 80s most sought after actresses namely that of Cates, Phoebe Belle needs a discography guide on article, although it's too microscopic. |

:Still, I don't know why you're messaging me. I have no interest in her aside from ''Fast Times at Ridgemont High'', I don't think I ever edited the article, and I didn't know she was a singer until this thread. Since I have no knowledge or interest, I won't be deciding whether or not her article needs a discography. {{Ping|Rusf10}} I think your approach is entirely helpful. Politics is a contentious and highly sensitive realm of discourse, and as such, it is possible for even the most experienced of veteran editors to lose sight of the purpose and function of Wikipedia. Wikipedia is a invaluable resource and an irreplaceable source of information for millions to billions of people around the globe, and it is consequently important that the quality of its content reflects the nobility of that function and the lofty ideal that function represents. Everyone is certainly capable of mistakes, especially considering these tumultuous times, but those members of any community who wield the most influence, respect, and attention have a responsibility to hold themselves to an exemplary standard beyond their personal beliefs. Despite this the duty often falls to the many of those who wield the least influence to patrol and enforce that standard. I believe everyone could use a respectful reminder of this. <br>Thank you for your contribution, sir. I'm sure you know the page I'm talking about, [[Talk:Report_On_The_Investigation_Into_Russian_Interference_In_The_2016_Presidential_Election|Report On The Investigation Into Russian Interference In The 2016 Presidential Election talk page]]. Hey Muboshgu,
Scott Walker (Delaware Scott Walker not Wisconsin Scott Walker) announced at least a few weeks ago that he's running for POTUS in 2020, as a Democrat. But he was the Republican nominee for DE's At-Large Congressional District in 2018. You can list him maybe as one of the minor Democratic candidates for President in 2020 on the page regarding the presidential election, as opposed to one of the major candidates. Here's an article backing it up.

There's a DS talk notice for A-I on the talk page, do you think that the article should be put under ecp? My argument would be that she's a target for editors with a bias even if they don't edit specifically relevant content, and that of course editors are editing relevant content that don't have the days or edits. The same arguments apply to Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez where I see you and User:Cullen328 have been editing. Doug Weller talk 19:26, 3 February 2019 (UTC)

Hello - I saw you removed this content and while I agree with you that it doesn't belong in that article, the reason isn't because it's false - Trump did make that claim. So I just wanted to confirm - is your reason as stated - because it's outlandish? Or is it because it's not relevant? I think the latter and to be clear, the reason for this question is is more for my WP education than anything else - Thanks. airuditious (talk) 19:01, 12 February 2019 (UTC)
Hello, would you be willing to take a look at footnote "A" here and let me know if you consider this is a valid use of this tool? Inclusion of that FN's content has been the topic of debate at the article's talk page and this seems to me to be an example of the editor trying to keep their desired content on the article without having to satisfy gaining consensus. I did survey several other articles and have not yet found one with any FNs this long nor this expository. Thanks. airuditious (talk) 19:38, 12 February 2019 (UTC)

In January 2019, Gonzalez was one of seven Democratic lawmakers to meet with President Donald Trump and the Administration to put an end to the longest federal government shutdown in U.S. history.
Hope you're doing well. I have a simple question that hopefully you can answer for me. I recently switched the main pictures on Ichiro's page, and noticed you reverted it, citing the picture that I replaced it with as "inferior." My question is this: what about it makes it inferior? I mean no disrespect at all, as I am just seeking some explanation that I can use on future edits. Thanks again. Mannytool (talk) 19:32, 21 March 2019 (UTC)

JP Gates, Michael Busch (baseball), and Ashton McGee have all revived significant coverage and should be allowed. Also I had added to Ian Gibaut to give him his own page and I don’t see what is wrong with that too. If there is something missing please tell me what to add and I will.

Shearonink (talk) 00:01, 25 March 2019 (UTC)

(In fact, I can name at least three editors who monitor and resolve those categories ... to a point where it constitutes most of their edits.) Steel1943 (talk) 23:09, 2 April 2019 (UTC)
End of discussion,
67.81.163.178 (talk) 13:12, 6 April 2019 (UTC)
The reason why this has been brung up is from the fact that no one has replied to that improvement in three months on subject's talk page. Main story is one of the 80s most sought after actresses namely that of Cates, Phoebe Belle needs a discography guide on article, although it's too microscopic.
Link to article: en.wikipedia.org/w/Phoebe_Cates. I repeat take a look there and leave commentaries.
Lights out,

This is a standard message to notify contributors about an administrative ruling in effect. It does not imply that there are any issues with your contributions to date.
You have shown interest in post-1932 politics of the United States and closely related people. Due to past disruption in this topic area, a more stringent set of rules called discretionary sanctions is in effect. Any administrator may impose sanctions on editors who do not strictly follow Wikipedia's policies, or the page-specific restrictions, when making edits related to the topic.

Rusf10 (talk) 22:31, 10 April 2019 (UTC)
@Rusf10: I think your approach is entirely helpful.
Thank you for your contribution, sir. This is what makes Wikipedia great. — Preceding unsigned comment added by SK8RBOI (talk • contribs) 03:53, 12 April 2019 (UTC)

Peter Alonso's Wikipedia page incorrectly states "Alonso was born to Michelle, a native of Bucaramanga, Columbia...". Although I gave birth to Peter, I was not born in Bucaramanga, Columbia nor do I have any Latin American relatives, associations or even visited the country.
I edited Peter's page today to remove the fabrication of "a native of Bucaramanga, Columbia". I'd appreciate it if you would ensure the correction is made in removing the fabrication.
It was disheartening to see Wikipedia would publish such a falsehood on the heels of removing facts I tried to insert on his page in September of 2018.
