If you are unable to complete a move for technical reasons, you can request technical help below. This is the correct method if you tried to move a page, but you got an error message saying something like "You do not have permission to move this page, for the following reasons:..." or "The/This page could not be moved, for the following reason:..."

If you are here because you want an admin to approve of your new article or your proposed page move, you are in the wrong place. If this is your first article and you want your draft article moved to the mainspace, please submit it for review at Articles for creation, by adding the code {{subst:submit}} to the top of the draftoruser sandbox page instead of listing it here. Because you are autoconfirmed, you can move most pages yourself. Do not request technical assistance on this page if you can do it yourself. If you need help determining whether it's okay to move the page to a different title, then please follow the instructions at the top of Wikipedia:Requested moves.

• Farooqui dynasty → Khandesh Sultanate (currently a redirect back to Farooqui dynasty) (move · discuss) – The article is mostly about the state, not the ruling dynasty. • Blackpool North railway station → Blackpool North station (currently a redirect back to Blackpool North railway station) (move · discuss) – Connected tram stop has opened and changing the suffix to station is common practice for UK rail pages.   But that is only because almost all UK railway stations only serve National Rail mainline services. Meanwhile, the railway station of Blackpool North connects to the tram network, so that is why 'railway' is removed. See Manchester Victoria station and East Croydon station. See WP:UKSTATION.   It depends whether we treat the tram stop and train station as one facility or two. Currently the list of tram stops implies that they're separate ("connected by an underpass"), the railway station states in the Facilities section that it's half a mile from the tramway (which it was pre-extension) and in the "Tram interchange" states it has "a new terminal opposite the station" which also implies the two are separate.   There is a bit of a ramble at talk:Haymarket railway station about the same thing. I could argue that East Croydon station and Stratford International station should be renamed but I still prefer the current title. I never plan to start an RM there but I am not stopping people from doing so JuniperChill (talk) 08:55, 18 June 2024 (UTC)[reply]

• Jos Alukkas & Sons (currently a redirect to Jos Alukkas) → Jos Alukkas (move · discuss) – The name of the company appears to be only Jos Alukkas. The "& Sons" part does not appear in their branding. There is already a redirect at the target page that will need to be deleted to make room for the move.   Note that this is not the correct place to propose a split. See WP:PROSPLIT for the proper procedure. Also, I'm not sure why this requires a move? Yes, the two constituencies are significantly different. This map shows the arrondissement (old constituency) within the province (new constituency). The area of the constituency increased from 797 km² to 3,857 km². The electorate increased from 400,000 to 725,000.--Obi2canibe (talk) 18:22, 12 June 2024 (UTC)[reply]

  The people are referred to as the Atakapa, the Ishak, and the Atakapa-Ishak. Referring to them as simply Atakapa or Ishak doesn't make since in that context. As well, they are referred to Atakapa-Ishak by media sources (https://www.texasobserver.org/mapping-indigenous-communities-of-texas-atakapa-ishak/, https://64parishes.org/keyword/atakapa-ishak-nation) and by the major tribal organization (https://www.atakapa-ishaknationofswla.org/). • @Roastedbeanz1: There are 9 sources in the article that spell it without the space: [1], [2], [3], [4], [5], and [6] use "Amplive" and [7], [8], and [9] use "AmpLive". An argument could be made for "Amplive", so this should probably be discussed on the talk page before moving.   @ToadetteEdit: "panah" is a suffix, not a separate word. one source put a space between them and the others simply cope/pasted the same mistake. but OK if you insist to "contest" the move, check the official report of that Olympic. page 437. </nowiki>Sports2021 (talk) 17:48, 16 June 2024 (UTC)[reply]
