    The 1987 Duke Blue Devils football team represented Duke University as a member of the Atlantic Coast Conference (ACC) during the 1987 NCAA Division I-A football season. Led by first-year head coach Steve Spurrier, the Blue Devils compiled an overall record of 5–6 with a mark of 2–5 in conference play, and finished seventh in the ACC. Duke played home games at Wallace Wade StadiuminDurham, North Carolina.
