The 2002 IAAF World Cross Country Championships took place on March 23/24, 2002. The races were held at the Leopardstown Racecourse , Dún Laoghaire–Rathdown , near Dublin , Ireland . Reports of the event were given in The New York Times ,[1] [2] in the Herald ,[3] [4] and for the IAAF .[5] [6] [7] [8] [9] [10]
New scores for team results were introduced.
Complete results for senior men,[11] [12] [13] for senior men's teams,[11] [14] [15] for men's short race,[16] [17] [18] for men's short race teams,[16] [19] [20] for junior men,[21] [22] [23] for junior men's teams,[21] [24] [25] senior women,[26] [27] [28] for senior women's teams,[26] [29] [30] for women's short race,[31] [32] [33] for women's short race teams,[31] [34] [35] for junior women,[36] [37] [38] for junior women's teams,[36] [39] [40] medallists,[41] and the results of British athletes who took part[42] were published.
