2024 Pennsylvania Democratic presidential primary
The 2024 Pennsylvania Democratic presidential primary took place on April 23, 2024, as part of the Democratic Party primaries for the 2024 presidential election . 186 delegates to the Democratic National Convention were allocated to presidential candidates.[1]
Incumbent President Joe Biden is running for re-election. Dean Phillips , who suspended his primary campaign on March 6, 2024, is the only other candidate on the ballot.[2]
President Biden won every county. Protest votes for the withdrawn candidate Dean Phillips and write-in candidates combined for 12% of the vote.
Campaign [ edit ]
Incumbent President Joe Biden announced his bid for a second term on April 25, 2023, four years after he announced his 2020 campaign .[3] Philadelphia on June 17, touting the successes of his economic policy .[4]
