Asfaltomylos is an extinct genus of the primitive mammal subclass Australosphenida from the JurassicofArgentina. The type and only species is Asfaltomylos patagonicus, recovered from and named after the Cañadón Asfalto Formation, Cañadón Asfalto BasinofChubut Province, Patagonia.[2]
