Baisha Township (Chinese: 白沙鄉; pinyin: Báishā Xiāng; Pe̍h-ōe-jī: Pe̍h-soa-hiong; "White sand") is a rural townshipinPenghu County (the Pescadores), Taiwan. It is located to the north of Penghu Main Island and linked to Siyu Island by the Penghu Trans-Oceanic Bridge, which at 2.5 km (1.6 mi) long is the longest of its kind in east Asia.[1] The township has a population of 10,048.

Citou Village is right across Yuanbei Island with the sea in between.
The wind farm sits in Jhongtun Village of Baisha Township in Penghu County, it is the second wind farm in Taiwan, and has been in operation since October 2001. The wind farm happens to be situated in Jhongtun's second nursery, and designed as a windmill park; it is the new landmark for famous tourist sites in Baisha Township.
