InHomer's Odyssey, Demoptolemus (/ˌdɛməpˈtɒlɪməs/; Ancient Greek: Δημοπτόλεμος) was one of the 108 suitorsofthe queenofIthaca, Penelope.[1][2] He came from Dulichium along with 51 other suitors.[3] Demoptolemus, with the other suitors, met his end by the spear of Odysseus in the final stages of the battle in the hall of the latter's palace.[4][5]
