Duwaybiq (Arabic: دويبق, romanized: DūvaybıkorArabic: دويبيق, romanized: Duwaybīq; Turkish: Toybuk), also known as Duniq (Arabic: دونيق, romanized: Dūnīq), is a village in northern Aleppo Governorate, northwestern Syria. Located some 35 kilometres (22 mi) north of the city of Aleppo, it administratively belongs to Nahiya SawraninAzaz District. Nearby localities include Ihtaimlat 2 km (1.2 mi) to the west, Dabiq 3 km (1.9 mi) to the south, and Turkman Bareh 5 km (3.1 mi) to the southeast.
In the 2004 census, Duwaybiq had a population of 1,862.[1] The village is inhabited by Turkmen.[2] Traveler Martin Hartmann noted the village as a Turkish village in late 19th century.[3]
