Tsinghua University High School (清华大学附属中学) is a public secondary school in Haidian, Beijing, China. The school is supervised by the Beijing City Haidian District Education Committee.[1]

History[edit]

In 1915, the school was founded as Chengzhi School (成志学校).

In 1946, the school was renamed as Beiping School (北平学校).

In 1952, the school became the Tsinghua University Affiliated Junior High School (清华大学附设中学).

Rankings[edit]

In a 2016 ranking of Chinese high schools that send students to study in American universities, the school ranked tenth in mainland China in terms of the number of students entering top American universities.[2][3]
