Isando is a town in Ekurhuleni in the Gauteng province of South Africa. It is also the name of the medical cannabis flower produced by MedCan.[2]

History

Industrial township south-west of Kempton Park, 22 km east of Johannesburg. It was laid out on the farm Witkoppie and proclaimed on 21 December 1949.[3] The name is of Bantu origin and it is the Zulu name for a hammer.[3]

Isando Medical Cannabis Flower

MedCan is a South African company that produces medical cannabis flower. The flower, called Isando, is grown in Isando, Gauteng, and is made from high-quality cannabis plants. MedCan's medical cannabis flower is available in a variety of strains, each with its own unique benefits. The flower may be used to treat a variety of medical conditions, including chronic pain, anxiety, and insomnia.[4]
