Resort village in Saskatchewan, Canada
Island View (2016 population : 74 resort village in the Canadian province of Saskatchewan within Census Division No. 6 . It is on the shores of Last Mountain Lake in the Rural Municipality of McKillop No. 220 .
History [ edit ]
Island View incorporated as a resort village on January 1, 1994.[2]
Demographics [ edit ]
In the 2021 Census of Population conducted by Statistics Canada , Island View had a population of 71 74 km 2 mi ), it had a population density of 2 mi ) in 2021.[4]
In the 2016 Census of Population conducted by Statistics Canada , the Resort Village of Island View recorded a population of 74 39 237 total private dwellings, a 65 km 2 mi ), it had a population density of 2 mi ) in 2016.[7]
Government [ edit ]
The Resort Village of Island View is governed by an elected municipal council and an appointed administrator that meets on the fourth Saturday of every month.[3] mayor is Raymond Olson and its administrator is Pamela Holliday.[3]
