    California's 40th State Assembly district is one of 80 California State Assembly districts. It is currently represented by Democrat Pilar SchiavoofChatsworth.

    District profile[edit]

    The district encompasses parts of Los Angeles County. This district stretches from Santa Clarita in the north to neighborhoods in the City of Los Angeles in the south.
