La Rivière (The River) is a lead or bronze sculpture by Aristide Maillol.[1]

There are examples at the Carrousel Garden[2]inParis; Citygarden[3]inSt. Louis, Missouri; the Museum of Modern Art[4]inNew York City; the Norton Simon Museum[5]inPasadena; Kunsthalle Hamburg,[6] Hamburg; the Museum of Fine Arts, Houston;[7] and the Virginia Museum of Fine Arts, Richmond, Virginia,[8] among others held in private collections. A version is also located in the Talacker neighborhood of Zürich.
