Periglandula are a genusoffungi in the family Clavicipitaceae. They live as epibionts, in a symbiotic relationship with two species of plant, Ipomoea asarifolia and Ipomoea corymbosa.[2] They are known to produce ergot alkaloids related to lysergic acid.[3]
