If this means that they are affiliated with each other, which is what it seems to mean, then the article should say something like, "The Centre and the School are affiliated." Idiomatically, the "both" should be implied. Conversely, if the meaning is that these institutions are affiliated with other, outside institutions, that should be stated explicitly, and farther along in the article, such affiliations should be listed.
