Devil's Point, Devon → Devil's Point, Plymouth – Proposing a move for consistency and specificity. Devil's Point is located in the Stonehouse suburb of the city of Plymouth (hence "Devil's Point, Plymouth"), which is more specific than "Devil's Point, Devon" and in line with other Plymouth area articles. Shouldn't the disambiguator be in brackets instead of following a comma? That's the convention for natural features (as opposed to settlements): With natural features, the tag normally appears in parentheses, as in Eagle River (Colorado). Specific pre-existing national conventions may take precedence though. (WP:PLACEDAB). – Uanfala (talk)14:19, 28 August 2021 (UTC)[reply]
Thanks for the feedback! I'm not sure if the the national convention of WP:UKPLACE takes precedence here. Since this format uses "placename, town/city", I believe Devil's Point should follow that. Y.ssk18:02, 29 August 2021 (UTC)[reply]
