Impeachment paragraph[edit]

When this article is eventually reworked (which it desperately needs to be), please add this sentence or a variation of it back in. This sentence was removed for now for flow purposes.

Young is the only member of Congress ever to have served during four of the five presidential impeachment processes, having served during Nixon's, Clinton's, and both the first and second impeachments of Trump.[1]

Curbon7 (talk) 21:27, 11 November 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Agreed, it definitely is worth mentioning. I'm sure someone smarter than me can figure out where it best fits, the lead paragraph certainly wasn't it but there's got to be some way to fit it in. The Blade of the Northern Lights (話して下さい) 01:33, 12 November 2021 (UTC)[reply]

March 6 or March 14 1973[edit]

This https://bioguide.congress.gov/search/bio/Y000033 says March 6 On seniority of US H of R they use election date not sworn in date — Preceding unsigned comment added by 97.116.106.172 (talk) 22:34, 1 September 2022 (UTC) https://history.house.gov/Institution/Seniority/40-Years/ It certainly seems like the HoR uses March 6 — Preceding unsigned comment added by 97.116.106.172 (talk) 22:38, 1 September 2022 (UTC) "The results have to be certified and the House Clerk has to receive and accept those results. All that never happens on the same day." no it doesn't but the House uses the election date as the start date for special elections — Preceding unsigned comment added by 97.116.106.172 (talk) 22:42, 1 September 2022 (UTC)[reply]

And why are you cherry-picking sources, especially one of such poor quality as the first one you cite? RadioKAOS / Talk to me, Billy / Transmissions 16:07, 2 September 2022 (UTC)[reply]
