I wonder if this subject specifically requires an article dedicated to it. "Eternal Buddha" doesn't appear to be a discrete concept, but rather a description that some scriptures apply to one or various other Buddhas (Shakyamuni, Samantabhadra, etc.) We could perhaps merge this text into Buddha. On the other hand, I would interested in knowing more about the relationships of concepts such as Adi-Buddha and Dhyanibuddha, and the descriptions of Samantabhadra and of Vairocana as Primordial Buddha. - Nat Krause 05:43, 14 Apr 2005 (UTC)
Hallo Nat, good to hear from you again. I think your suggestion of a "merger" is a sensible one. I'll put the info contained in "Eternal Buddha" into the "Buddha" entry in the next few days. It will sit quite well there as a separate little section, I think. Thanks again for your useful suggestion. All the best to you - Tony TonyMPNS 08:52, 14 Apr 2005 (UTC)
Nat, I've deleted my "Eternal Buddha" entry and shifted the info over to the "Buddha" entry. But I don't know how to get rid of the title of the entry, "Eternal Buddha", from Wiki altogether! That heading is still there. Can you help??? Thanks - Tony 15:02, 14 Apr 2005 (UTC)
Well, it could be done, but it would require the assistance of an administrator. It's not really necessary, though -- we can have Eternal Buddha redirect automatically to Buddha by changing the text to #REDIRECT [[Buddha]]. I went ahead and did that. - Nat Krause 03:59, 19 Apr 2005 (UTC)
Many thanks as always, Nat, for your valuable help. Best wishes, from Tony TonyMPNS 07:33, 19 Apr 2005 (UTC)
