Vaccines are not only used or produced in the US. It would do good either to include other vaccine brands in the list, or to remove branding and focus on generic vaccine types. US "FDA approvals" are as relevant as formal approvals in any other country or region (UK, EU, India, China, Russia, etc.), and focusing just on US is against WP:Worldwide. kashmiri 10:15, 29 September 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Kashmiri: a) The material is not only sourced and reference is provided but the facts have been proven. b) Please be aware that we have secured the previous unreserved recommendation for MenAfriVac which Wikipedia/you had placed there despite better knowledge and thereby mislead people to believe that this vaccine (MenAfriVac) under the CTC scheme would be safe. c) Though you have changed now the text which you insist should be the only one placed there, you are still withholding crucial information about the fact that the vaccine can not be considered safe and actually has not even a full licence. d) By continuously removing the text we placed on Wikipedia you render yourself as well as Wikipedia itself liable and will possibly be held responsible for further incidences. e) Please note that - by having earlier recommended this vaccination unconditionally and by persistently refusing to have a warning posted - Wikipedia/you might have to be ensued in a pending lawsuit against those who vaccinated the children in Chad and caused the harm there as well as concerning other, upcoming cases. However, in 2010, when the new conjugate MenAfriVac vaccine jab (out of traditional cold chain) was given to 356,532 young people in Filingué, Niger, already 87 AEFI (Adverse Events Following Immunisation) were observed between September 21 and November 11, 2010, and one person died at the health centre of "unclassifiable" cause. 10 cases with severe convulsions were back then brushed aside as possibly "coincidental Malaria", though the EU report placed a big question mark on these findings.
Starting on December 11, 2012, around 500 young people, aged between 1 and 29 years, as well as babies below one year were forcefully vaccinated with the MenAfriVac vaccine at the small village of Gouro in the North of the Republic of Chad, which has a total population of below one thousand inhabitants, is located in the remote North of the country and far outside the so-called Meningitis Belt.
106 of the inoculated young persons fell immediately sick with severe physical implications like paralysis, extremely strong, uncontrollable convulsions, moaning, excessive salivation, vomiting, headaches, coma-like collapse etc. 56 cases were immediately transported to the regional hospital in Faya. The cases were at first confirmed by a governmental delegation sent to Faya and then by the Health Minister.
The investigation is ongoing, while 38 of the most severe cases were evacuated onwards to the capital N'Djamena as well as seven - without the knowledge or consent of the parents - to a private hospital in Tunis, the capital of Tunisia. After the seriously ill and incapacitated vaccine-victims were visited by the Prime Minister of the Republic of Chad in their hospital in N'Djamena the MenAfriVac vaccination project in Chad was halted.
Two month on many of the young patients have not recovered, but all were sent back to the remote village near the border with Libya, where no medical doctor is available.
