Third Reich At War[edit]

This article would benefit tremendously from Richard J. Evans' new book, The Third Reich at War. I'm just getting to the section on forced labor in Poland. The section appears immensely detailed and contains many sources which could be further consulted to help lift this article to Class B status. - Tim1965 (talk) 16:15, 21 July 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Since you have the book, could you expand the article? --Piotr Konieczny aka Prokonsul Piotrus| talk 20:10, 24 July 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Balance POV[edit]

I am a novice editor, and not a Nazi. But thinking about this article in terms of NPOV, would the Nazi viewpoint, arguably a fringe viewpoint of course, be permissable? For instance, and this is a hypothetical, something like "Adolf Eichmann determined forced labor was more economical than paid labor and instituted policies to ..." Did I mention I am not a Nazi? It also makes me wonder if, for the sake of NPOV, would the KKK viewpoint on "minority inferiority" be permissable on say the racism article? And I am not a Klansman, in fact by virtue of my ethnicity a target of the KKK and anachronistically Natl. Soc. I think this exercise might help be better grasp NPOV. Lionelt (talk) 18:51, 24 July 2009 (UTC)[reply]

No worries, Lionel, one does not have to be a Nazi to admit they were not all crazy :) I wrote an article on a terribly rational Nazi plan, the Hunger Plan, and I am not a Nazi, neither. I also would like to see Nazi economy article expanded. I suggest that you may want to add content to the forced labor in Nazi Germany article, as economics of forced labor is probably a bit too broad for this specific article (which deals with Nazi legislation on Polish forced laborers). Btw, I don't think that lack of discussion of economics is a neutrality problem, it is more of a traditional comprehensiveness problem. --Piotr Konieczny aka Prokonsul Piotrus| talk 20:09, 24 July 2009 (UTC)[reply]
