Early comments[edit]

-graphy is the field or study of vs -gram is for the record of or test. Polysomnography is the study of sleep medicine. The test performed is the polysomnogram. --67.65.34.158 (talk) 07:07, 9 May 2011 (UTC)[reply]

I didn't clean it up much... but I added content. —Preceding unsigned comment added by MrSandman (talkcontribs)

I tried to clean it up a bit, and added more content. I will try to add more as time permits. —Preceding unsigned comment added by Toferscd (talkcontribs)

Looks okay to me. Maybe something could be added about precisely what goes on in a sleep lab (I assume that's where polysomnographic studies are done?). --Micahbrwn 00:09, 20 June 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Combine two articles?[edit]

Both the Polysomnography article and the Polysomnogram article are fascinating and informative. However, there is necessarily a lot of repetition. Ideally, someone who knows a lot about these things should combine the articles and redirect from Polysomnogram to Polysomnography. (I'll put this same comment on the Polysomnogram talk page.) Yes, completely agree. SNALWIBMA ( talk - contribs ) 12:53, 18 October 2008 (UTC)[reply]
I think that would be a great idea. AskMrGray (talk) 17:27, 20 April 2009 (UTC)AskMrGray[reply]
Article merge completed. --Scott Alter 04:00, 16 May 2009 (UTC)[reply]
Thank you for doing that merge! - Hordaland (talk) 09:10, 16 May 2009 (UTC)[reply]

External Link[edit]

I've added an external link to a page on my own site. It describes a typical sleep study (aka polysomnogram) from the patient's perspective (being a patient myself). I'm not sure if this is acceptable as an external link so I'd like to hear from other editors on this. LoneWolfMuskoka (talk) 21:21, 13 December 2011 (UTC)[reply]

CPAP report at the end of the article[edit]

The last section where the sample report is given looks like someone just tacked on a line about a device that is completely different from the rest of the report, I'm removing it. Fjf1085 (talk) 17:20, 15 September 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Sleep studies vs Polysomnography[edit]

I have removed the redirect from Sleep study and Sleep studies and created a new article because not all sleep studies mean Polysomnography and hence they are not equivalent. I would invite you to improve the other newly created article.DiptanshuTalk 14:32, 27 December 2012 (UTC)[reply]
