Rano M. Shaiza[edit]

* ... that Rano M. Shaiza was the first woman Member of Parliament, Lok Sabha from the state of Nagaland?Source: [1][2] *ALT1 that Rano M. Shaiza was the first woman Member of India's Lower House from the state of Nagaland?Source: [3][4]

  • I took the liberty of removing "India" from the hook, because it seems rather prolix: the Lok Sabha is an Indian institution, and there is no Nagaland elsewhere. If you feel India should be mentioned, I suggest something along the lines of "was the first woman Member of India's Lower House". Dahn (talk) 07:52, 14 July 2017 (UTC)
  • Yes Thank you, I'am fine with India being removed from the hook.  FITINDIA  08:00, 14 July 2017 (UTC)
  • @Dahn: Have taken your advice and changed the hook, Please have a look at ALT 1.  FITINDIA  12:06, 29 July 2017 (UTC)
  • This article is new enough and long enough. ALT1 seems satisfactory and the hook facts are cited inline. The article is neutral and I detected no copyright issues. Cwmhiraeth (talk) 06:34, 6 August 2017 (UTC)
  • The QPQ is not a complete review. Yoninah (talk) 21:44, 7 August 2017 (UTC)
  • Comment: Have completed the QPQ review.  FITINDIA  05:23, 8 August 2017 (UTC)
  • Thank you. Restoring tick per Cwmhiraeth's review. Yoninah (talk) 10:41, 9 August 2017 (UTC)
  • Now that I came by to promote this, I notice that the hook is very similar to dozens of other women's hooks that have been nominated, touting the subject as the "first". Like men, women who are notable do far more than just being "the first". I think you have a more interesting hook fact in Shaiza's efforts to advance the Naga nationalist movement. The fact that she was able to set up a meeting between her uncle and the prime minister to push ahead the Naga peace accord is a far more interesting hook fact, IMO. Yoninah (talk) 21:52, 9 August 2017 (UTC)
  • I'm going ahead and promoting this because I just piped the links in the nominator's ALT2 hook. Yoninah (talk) 08:15, 10 August 2017 (UTC)
