It seems to me that Novar plc has its own sections of the Honeywell template is in violation of NPOV. Why should only this particular subsidiary have additional information? It feels extraneous to include former subsidiaries of a company that has already been absorbed by another. Additionally, I believe Pittway should be added to the list of subsidiaries.
As for people, Hiram Halle should be removed. As far as I can tell he has had no involvement with Honeywell whatsoever, and his Wikipedia page has no mention of the company either. In his place, I would think it suitable to add James H. Binger and W.R. Sweatt, the former CEO and President, respectively, to the growth of the company in its earlier years.
Finally, I think there should be a section titled "Formerly" or something similar, to include AlliedSignal. It's a bit disingenuous to list it as a subsidiary when it is Honeywell that was purchased by AlliedSignal, who elected to switch to the Honeywell name. --FacultiesIntact (talk) 23:07, 8 May 2015 (UTC)[reply]
Reply - @FacultiesIntact:, when Novar plc or any other subsidiary has five links, I plan to split that off into its own template. Until then, I am adding all of the links to the navbox that I am able to contemplate. I have added Pittway, and kept Hiram Halle, as Halle was involved with UOP LLC. I feel that if I add all employees with articles, the template could become too huge. Perhaps AlliedSignal could be placed under a section called "Related". --Jax 0677 (talk) 00:00, 9 May 2015 (UTC)[reply]

I've been working on a new version of the navbox for Honeywell, that's both up-to-date and a little more organized than its current state (sandbox here). My thoughts were to swap out "subsidiaries" for "acquired companies" as most of the companies listed there are fully absorbed and integrated into the company. I also created a more robust "products" section, organized by the company's business groups, rather than just a plain list. @Jax 0677: Do you have the time to take a look and collaborate on this?--FacultiesIntact (talk) 21:47, 7 May 2018 (UTC)[reply]
Reply - Added "Home and Building Technologies" text. However, "Transnorm" & "Morris Plains Headquarters" have no articles, so I did not add them. There are so many articles that seem to be missing, that I added {{otd}}. Thanks! --Jax 0677 (talk) 19:59, 21 November 2019 (UTC)[reply]
@Jax 0677: Thank you for adding "Home and Building Technologies."
I see FacultiesIntact and @Daylen: added "Morris Plains Headquarters" to link to Morris Plains, New Jersey.I see why they did this. This can help the reader learn more about the city of the headquarters. This way, the reader can find Honeywell related information on the city's article. Would you consider this?
@Jax 0677: OK I see what you are saying. If I add the missing articles to this talk page with the appropriate sections, would you be open to adding them to the template?--Chefmikesf (talk) 21:18, 25 November 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Request-- Add the articles from the Honeywell categories to the to the designated sections in the template box. Please reference my conversation with @Jax 0677: for context about this addition.
