One met for the place, an insignificant unit of not more than 100 armed civilians with an only cannon of 6 counts, commanded for the captain of the artillery Jacek Drozdowski. A Polish unit opened fire with its only cannon and gradually it withdrew starting through the quadrilateral against the palace of Brühl in its side north, going off intermittently. At the same time the Russian commander did not emit no order and its columns had been stops; simply frightened under the enemy fire. The other important person was Antanas Strazdas signed in PolishasAntoni Drozdowski, poet and priest.(1760-1833). Only two poetry books were published during his lifetime, one in 1814 and other in 1824.
