Welcome!

Hello, CharlesVilliers, and welcome to Wikipedia! Thank you for your contributions. I hope you like the place and decide to stay. Unfortunately, one or more of your recent edits to the page Palazzetto Bru Zane – Centre de musique romantique française have not conformed to Wikipedia's verifiability policy, and has been or will be removed. Managing a conflict of interest

[edit]

Information icon Hello, CharlesVilliers. We welcome your contributions, but if you have an external relationship with the people, places, or things you have written about in the article Palazzetto Bru Zane – Centre de musique romantique française, you may have a conflict of interest (COI). Editors with a COI may be unduly influenced by their connection to the topic, and it is important when editing Wikipedia articles that such connections be completely transparent. See the conflict of interest guideline and FAQ for organizations for more information. In particular, we ask that you please:

In addition, you must disclose your employer, client, and affiliation with respect to any contribution for which you receive, or expect to receive, compensation (see WP:PAID).

Please take a few moments to read and review Wikipedia's policies regarding conflicts of interest, especially those pertaining to neutral point of view, sourcing and autobiographies. Thank you. Justlettersandnumbers (talk) 13:09, 6 March 2017 (UTC)[reply]

This user has now replied here explicitly denying any COI. I do note that, so far, they remain largely a single purpose account, but with one exception. Andrewa (talk) 05:24, 16 March 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Falsifying cited material

[edit]

Hello. I am not sure why you falsified the cited statement with your change here. It is rarely a good idea to alter material statements in a Featured Article without first discussing at the article talk page, and it is never a good idea to change a text that accurately says what the source says to something it doesn't. I have checked the source just now and it is undeniable that you have misrepresented what it says. I have reverted to the correct version. Please bear this in mind for future editing. Kind regards, Tim riley talk 22:17, 17 May 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Hello Tim, thanks for reaching out. One expects a glorious dinner to be held at the night of the premiere; however, Moore clearly states it was held on the evening before. His paragraph opens with 6 December and the London Symphony rehearsal when Schuster and Fauré were in the stalls, and then he continues "before the concert on the following evening..." So following Moore's words one cannot be sure Fauré even attended the actual London premiere of the symphony on 7 December. CharlesVilliers (talk) 07:45, 18 May 2020 (UTC)[reply]
My copy of Moore's book is not accessible at the moment because of the lock-down. If you assure me that your statement is a fair representation of what he says, I accept what you say. I have redrawn the sentence. Tim riley talk 15:00, 18 May 2020 (UTC)[reply]
