Hi there, Science! Glad to see you've become a member of WiR. From the improvements you've made to a number of women's biographies, it looks as if you'll be a useful contributor. Perhaps you'll soon be creating new biographies yourself. If you need any help or run into any problems, let me know or include a message on the WiR talk page. Happy editing!--Ipigott (talk) 08:15, 10 December 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Hi, I'm Abishe. Eolaíocht, thanks for creating Sinéad Burke!
I've just tagged the page, using our page curation tools, as having some issues to fix. Thanks for creating this article. Well done and happy editing!

Hello,
I am E. Whittaker, an intern at Wikimedia with the Scoring Team to create a labeled dataset, and potentially a tool, to help editors deal with incivility when they encounter it on talk pages. We are currently recruiting editors to be interviewed about their experiences with incivility on talk pages. Would you be interested in being interviewed? I am contacting you because of your involvement in Wikipedia’s Women in Red project. The interviews should take ~1 hour, and will be conducted over BlueJeans (which does allow interviews to be recorded). If, so, please email me at ewhit@umich.edu in order to schedule an interview.
Thank you Ewitch51 (talk) 20:22, 11 June 2018 (UTC)[reply]
Hello Eolaíocht,
I wanted to let you know that I just tagged Ann O'Dea for deletion, because the article doesn't clearly say why the subject is important enough to be included in an encyclopedia.
If you feel that the article shouldn't be deleted and want more time to work on it, you can contest this deletion, but please don't remove the speedy deletion tag from the top.
You can leave a note on my talk page if you have questions.

Please carefully read this information:
The Arbitration Committee has authorised discretionary sanctions to be used for pages regarding discussions about infoboxes and to edits adding, deleting, collapsing, or removing verifiable information from infoboxes, a topic which you have edited. The Committee's decision is here.
Discretionary sanctions is a system of conduct regulation designed to minimize disruption to controversial topics. This means uninvolved administrators can impose sanctions for edits relating to the topic that do not adhere to the purpose of Wikipedia, our standards of behavior, or relevant policies. Administrators may impose sanctions such as editing restrictions, bans, or blocks. This message is to notify you that sanctions are authorised for the topic you are editing. Before continuing to edit this topic, please familiarise yourself with the discretionary sanctions system. Don't hesitate to contact me or another editor if you have any questions.—SerialNumber54129 paranoia /cheap sh*t room 12:11, 26 June 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Hiya. Unless Category:Churches in Dublin (city) has been identified as a non-diffusing subcategory (and I don't know why it would be) it would seem unnecessary for, for example, the city's COI churches to be a member of Category:Churches in Dublin (city), and Category:Protestant churches in Dublin (city) and Category:Church of Ireland churches in Dublin (city). Given that each follows the expectations of a diffused category structure. Placing them in each and every category feels like over-categorisation to me. Are you aware of some reason or rationale for placing them in each member of the diffused category "tree"? (In many cases, in a way which undoes the categorisation efforts of other editors over the years [1][2]). ?? Guliolopez (talk) 16:37, 13 October 2019 (UTC)[reply]
HiGuliolopez. Thanks for your message. Category:Churches in Ireland was tagged as needing work in Wikipedia:WikiProject Ireland, and when you select some of the subcategories, they are very poorly populated. I'm not trying to over-categorise things, I just thought that it is strange that only a few churches appear in the https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Category:Churches_in_Dublin_(city) category? Hello! Your submission of Sabina Brennan at the Did You Know nominations page has been reviewed, and some issues with it may need to be clarified. Please review the comment(s) underneath your nomination's entry and respond there as soon as possible. Thank you for contributing to Did You Know! On19 January 2020, Did you know was updated with a fact from the article Sabina Brennan, which you recently created, substantially expanded, or brought to good article status. The fact was ... that Irish neuroscientist Sabina Brennan was a soap actress in the television series Fair City before she started investigating dementia? The nomination discussion and review may be seen at Template:Did you know nominations/Sabina Brennan. You are welcome to check how many page hits the article got while on the front page (here's how, Sabina Brennan), and it may be added to the statistics page if the total is over 5,000. Finally, if you know of an interesting fact from another recently created article, then please feel free to suggest it on the Did you know talk page.

Hello, Eolaíocht
Thank you for creating Iseult Lynch.
User:Blythwood, while examining this page as a part of our page curation process, had the following comments:
Looks solid. General cleanup that's normal for an academic's article: I've linked to an existing Wikidata item for her and added a link to her website at the bottom as well as on the side, and her Twitter page (very often this is what people will want to go to next to see her activity, so well worth having). I've added categories (the living people category is particularly important-these articles need extra scrutiny as they're particularly likely targets for vandalism), an authority control link (that links to her work on catalogues of papers) and a default sort link (indexes in categories by surname). And put a tag on the talk page. Hope that all makes sense!
To reply, leave a comment here and prepend it with {{Re|Blythwood}}
. And, don't forget to sign your reply with ~~~~
.
