Block message:
Autoblocked because your IP address was recently used by "Ohmyn0". The reason given for Ohmyn0's block is: "excessive history of copyright violations".
Accept reason: I can see no reason to believe you are related to that user. I have lifted your autoblock. Happy editing! Yamla (talk) 19:38, 20 December 2018 (UTC)[reply]

The article Rachel Wolfe-Goldsmith has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:
Her organization has a better chance of passing GNG, but she does not have the type of in-depth coverage coverage needed to pass WP:GNG.
While all constructive contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, pages may be deleted for any of several reasons.
You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}}
notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.
Please consider improving the page to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}}
will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion. Onel5969 TT me 00:01, 28 June 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Thanks for reaching out! I didn't know there was an article for the Oakland Black Cowboy Association, and it looks like you did great work starting it. With a quick search, I found a bunch of additional potential sources, and really I think any topic with its own finding aid in the Online Archive of California should be considered sufficiently notable for Wikipedia. Here are a few links - feel free to work them in, and I'll give this a try later too: book chapter from 2007, Oakland North 2009, KQED 2017, Post News Group 2018, Mercury News 2019, SFGate 2021. Hello, EponineBunnyKickQueen
Welcome to Wikipedia! I edit here too, under the username Bruxton, and I thank you for your contributions.
I wanted to let you know, however, that I've proposed an article that you started, Marysia Nikitiuk, for deletion because it meets one or more of our deletion criteria, and I don't think that it is suitable for inclusion in the encyclopedia. The particular issue can be found in the notice that is now visible at the top of the article.
If you wish to contest the deletion:
{{proposed deletion/dated...}}
If you object to the article's deletion, please remember to explain why you think the article should be kept on the article's talk page and improve the page to address the issues raised in the deletion notice. Otherwise, it may be deleted later by other means.
If you have any questions, please leave a comment here and prepend it with {{Re|Bruxton}}
. And remember to sign your reply with ~~~~
. Thanks!

Hello, EponineBunnyKickQueen, and welcome to Wikipedia. I edit here too, under the username Bruxton, and I thank you for your contributions.
I wanted to let you know, however, that I've started a discussion about whether an article that you created, Marysia Nikitiuk, should be deleted, as I am not sure that it is suitable for inclusion in Wikipedia in its current form. Your comments are welcome at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Marysia Nikitiuk.
You might like to note that such discussions usually run for seven days and are not votes. And, our guide about effectively contributing to such discussions is worth a read. Last but not least, you are highly encouraged to continue improving the article; just be sure not to remove the tag about the deletion nomination from the top.
If you have any questions, please leave a comment here and prepend it with {{Re|Bruxton}}
. And, don't forget to sign your reply with ~~~~
. Thanks!

Women in Red 8th Anniversary |
InJuly 2015 around 15.5% of the English Wikipedia's biographies were about women. As of July 2023, 19.61% of the English Wikipedia's biographies are about women. That's a lot of biographies created in the effort to close the gender gap. Happy 8th Anniversary! Join us for some virtual cake and add comments or memories and please keep on editing to close the gap! |
