Hello, I am correcting a tracked syntax error on Wikipedia called the Tidy Font bug, and this page has two signatures with this error.

When links are written in the <font>link</font> format with the color specified outside of the link, browsers don't agree on how to display the colors. Some browsers display it with the specified colors, and others default back to the standard link blue.

    If you would, please change:

    <font color="silver">Silver</font><font color="blue">seren</font>C

    to

    <span style="color:silver">Silver</span><span style="color:blue">seren</span>C

    and

    <font color="#B00000"><font face="Casual"><i>MurderByDeadcopy</i></font></font><font color="Black"><i>"bang!"</i></font>

    to

    <b style="color:#B00000; font-family:Casual"><i>MurderByDeadcopy</i></b><span style="color:Black"><i>"bang!"</i></span>

  • ArbCom 2023 Elections voter message

    [edit]

Hello! Voting in the 2023 Arbitration Committee elections is now open until 23:59 (UTC) on Monday, 11 December 2023. All eligible users are allowed to vote. Users with alternate accounts may only vote once.

The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to impose binding solutions to disputes between editors, primarily for serious conduct disputes the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the authority to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail.

If you wish to participate in the 2023 election, please review the candidates and submit your choices on the voting page. If you no longer wish to receive these messages, you may add NoACEMM to your user talk page. MediaWiki message delivery (talk) 00:29, 28 November 2023 (UTC)[reply]

  • J. R. "Bob" Dobbs

    [edit]

Do you think J. R. "Bob" Dobbs has enough secondary sources to remove these tags now?

This article has multiple issues. Please help improve it or discuss these issues on the talk page. (Learn how and when to remove these template messages)

This article needs additional citations for verification. (December 2007)

This article relies excessively on referencestoprimary sources. (July 2012)

Yes - I think the sources are sufficient now to remove the tags. Good work! --Mojo Hand (talk) 14:51, 9 December 2023 (UTC)[reply]

  • Nomination of Nat Turner for deletion

    [edit]
A discussion is taking place as to whether the article Nat Turner is suitable for inclusion in Wikipedia according to Wikipedia's policies and guidelines or whether it should be deleted.

The article will be discussed at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Nat Turner until a consensus is reached, and anyone, including you, is welcome to contribute to the discussion. The nomination will explain the policies and guidelines which are of concern. The discussion focuses on high-quality evidence and our policies and guidelines.

Users may edit the article during the discussion, including to improve the article to address concerns raised in the discussion. However, do not remove the article-for-deletion notice from the top of the article until the discussion has finished.

  • Ethics Workshop Participation Request

    [edit]

HiMojo_Hand! We're conducting a series of participatory workshops with Wikipedia editors, administrators, researchers, and Wikimedia employees to discuss, and hopefully improve, Wikipedia's structures for online research (see meta research page). In an effort to get the right people in the room to discuss these topics, I'm reaching out here to see if you are interested in participating as an active administrator. We'd work with you to ensure this workshop can fit into your schedule, but are targeting end of April/early May. I'm happy to discuss any of these topics further here or on our talk page.
