November 2021[edit]

Information icon Hello, I'm Largoplazo. I noticed that you recently removed content from Maghrebi mint tea without adequately explaining why. In the future, it would be helpful to others if you described your changes to Wikipedia with an accurate edit summary. If this was a mistake, don't worry; the removed content has been restored. If you would like to experiment, please use your sandbox. If you think I made a mistake, or if you have any questions, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thanks. Citations come after punctuation[edit]

I have reverted the edit you made on Environmental DNA. On Wikipedia, citations come after punctuation, not before. Please read wp:cite and wp:mos. Thanks. — Epipelagic (talk) 03:50, 24 November 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Hello,
I checked the reviewer's comments and would like to point out that this page is dedicated to Tagine zitoune, an ancestral Algerian dish that translates to "Olive tajine." It can be made with chicken, beef, lamb, or minced meat, and always includes mushrooms and carrots. It should not be confused with the Moroccan dish Djadj b'zitoune, which translates to "Chicken with Olives," and contains no carrots nor mushrooms, and is also cooked differently with different spices.
Regarding the references, I'm not sure how they aren't credible given there are over a dozen of them, all of which are peer-reviewed, published books, some of them dating back to the 1970s, so I'd want more clarification on that. I'm also curious as to which of the references did not include a section on Olive Tagine.
Thank you very much. Slothtysloth (talk) 16:47, 2 May 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Hello, Slothtysloth

Welcome to Wikipedia! I edit here too, under the username Joseywales1961, and I thank you for your contributions.

I wanted to let you know, however, that I've proposed an article that you started, Cheba Warda, for deletion because it meets one or more of our deletion criteria, and I don't think that it is suitable for inclusion in the encyclopedia. The particular issue can be found in the notice that is now visible at the top of the article.

If you wish to contest the deletion:

  1. Edit the page
  2. Remove the text that looks like this: {{proposed deletion/dated...}}
  3. Click the Publish changes button.

If you object to the article's deletion, please remember to explain why you think the article should be kept on the article's talk page and improve the page to address the issues raised in the deletion notice. Otherwise, it may be deleted later by other means.

If you have any questions, please leave a comment here and prepend it with {{Re|Joseywales1961}}. And remember to sign your reply with ~~~~. Thanks!
