Hello Friendwip.kg This is entirely a procedural revert. I reverted your edit because you blanked the page, but did not explain why you did so, leaving an empty page. If you meant to delete the redirect (which you can't do, because you're not an administrator) or nominate it for deletion, you should take it to Redirects for discussion instead. Now, as to the reason why it ought to exist; it is appropriate that a subject that concerns a subgroup (Kyrgyz in Russia) redirects to an article about a larger group (all Kyrgyz people) until such time that sufficient material exists to support a standalone article. You could start with something similar to Kyrgyz_people#In_Afghanistan and then write Kyrgyz people in Russia once there is enough material for a standalone article. Kyrgyz_people#In_China is not a good example, because the main article is a copy of the paragraph. If you intend to write such an article, please do so, but do not just blank the page. Notability
I would disagree, being nominated for an Aria is similar to being nominated for an Oscar. It carries weight, I can research and source notable characters that are nominated for oscars but never actually won. Would you agree with this statement?
As per the notability requirements "The person has received a well-known and significant award or honor, or has been nominated for such an award several times."

Hi, I'm Mduvekot. AllAboutTom, thanks for creating Dw Norton!
I've just tagged the page, using our page curation tools, as having some issues to fix. I don't see that being a member of a band that has been nominated for an award, but did not win the award, suffices to establish individual notability for the subject.
The tags can be removed by you or another editor once the issues they mention are addressed. If you have questions, you can leave a comment on my talk page. Or, for more editing help, talk to the volunteers at the Teahouse.

HiAllAboutTom. I'm not quite sure which statement you're asking me to agree with. I don't think being nominated for an ARIA award is similar to being nominated for an Oscar. I do think it caries some weight, and may be mentioned in an article of an otherwise notable individual. Several nominations may help to establish notability for an individual. I'm not sure what showing me "notable characters that are nominated for oscars but never actually won" would accomplish. Being nominated for an Oscar several times establishes notability, but it is quite possible to be notable despite not winning an Oscar. Now, as to why I think Norton may not meet the criterion set out in WP:ANYBIO: The person has received a well-known and significant award or honor, or has been nominated for such an award several times. It's simply that the band that he's a member of was nominated for an award, not Norton. The band is notable. Individual notability could be supported by several nominations for notable awards for Norton himself, but that was not the case. I hope that explains my reasoning. My suggestion would be to focus less on the award and look for substantial coverage in independent, reliable sources. All the best,Mduvekot (talk) 11:52, 15 August 2017 (UTC)

Working on making constraints work on qualifiers and references (phabricator:T168532)
Working on making it easier to see when input in property or value fields is not recognized/wrong (phabricator:T170531)
Added new language codes (eya, fuf, ood, pjt, yap, zun) for use in monolingual text values
Fixed an issue with badges not being shown next to interwiki links on Wikipedia and co (phabricator:T172592)
Worked on showing labels when linking to a redirect (phabricator:T96553)
Worked on making change dispatching to Wikipedia and co work better so changes made on Wikidata show up there in a reasonable time. There were issues because of significantly increased edit activity on Wikidata.
Hello Vexations, thank you for your efforts reviewing new pages!
Backlog update:
The new page backlog is currently at 16,991 pages. We have worked hard to decrease from over 22,000, but more hard work is needed! Please consider reviewing even just a few pages a a day.
Technology update:
Rentier has created a NPP browser in WMF Labs that allows you to search new unreviewed pages using keywords and categories.
General project update:
The Wikimedia Foundation Community Tech team is working with the community to implement the autoconfirmed article creation trial. The trial is currently set to start on 7 September 2017, pending final approval of the technical features.
Please remember to focus on the quality of review: correct tagging of articles and not tagbombing are important. Searching for potential copyright violations is also important, and it can be aided by Earwig's Copyvio Detector, which can be added to your toolbar for ease of use with this user script.
