Hi there! Phase I of the Wikipedia:Requests for adminship/2024 review has concluded, with several impactful changes gaining community consensus and proceeding to various stages of implementation. Some proposals will be implemented in full outright; others will be discussed at phase II before being implemented; and still others will proceed on a trial basis before being brought to phase II. The following proposals have gained consensus:
See the project page for a full list of proposals and their outcomes. A huge thank-you to everyone who has participated so far :) looking forward to seeing lots of hard work become a reality in phase II. theleekycauldron (talk), via MediaWiki message delivery (talk) 08:09, 5 May 2024 (UTC)[reply]
[edit]The article Eugene Stanaland has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:
Local politician and economics professor; doesn't pass GNG, NPOL or NACADEMIC. Insufficient secondary, reliable, independent sources to establish notability.
While all constructive contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, pages may be deleted for any of several reasons.
You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}}
notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.
Please consider improving the page to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}}
will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion. Dclemens1971 (talk) 20:05, 10 May 2024 (UTC)[reply]
The article will be discussed at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Eugene Stanaland until a consensus is reached, and anyone, including you, is welcome to contribute to the discussion. The nomination will explain the policies and guidelines which are of concern. The discussion focuses on high-quality evidence and our policies and guidelines.
Users may edit the article during the discussion, including to improve the article to address concerns raised in the discussion. However, do not remove the article-for-deletion notice from the top of the article until the discussion has finished.Dclemens1971 (talk) 13:10, 11 May 2024 (UTC)[reply]
Hello, Yoblyblob. It has been over six months since you last edited the Articles for Creation submission or draft page you started, "The Final Earth 2".
In accordance with our policy that Wikipedia is not for the indefinite hosting of material, the draft has been deleted. When you plan on working on it further and you wish to retrieve it, you can request its undeletion. An administrator will, in most cases, restore the submission so you can continue to work on it.
Thank you for your submission to Wikipedia, and happy editing. ✗plicit 23:53, 20 May 2024 (UTC)[reply]
You moved the page 2023 COSAFA Beach Soccer Championship to 2024 COSAFA Beach Soccer Championship and I can't move it back. It's 2023 not 2024 as the tournament was delayed. Please move the page back to 2023. You can check the COSAFA website for the actual name.

You have recently bulk nominated Serie C articles for deletion (later withdrawn) and DPR Korea Football League for PROD (which I have removed). The speed by which you made these edits was matched only by the lack of thought given to them. Your edits have been incredibly disruptive and a huge time sink to for out. Please think very carefully about doing anything similar again. GiantSnowman 10:59, 27 May 2024 (UTC)[reply]
On 28 May 2024, In the news was updated with an item that involved the article 2024 Lithuanian presidential election, which you nominated. If you know of another recently created or updated article suitable for inclusion in ITN, please suggest it on the candidates page. — Amakuru (talk) 10:20, 28 May 2024 (UTC)[reply]
Hello, Yoblyblob! Having an article draft declined at Articles for Creation can be disappointing. If you are wondering why your article submission was declined, please post a question at the Articles for creation help desk. If you have any other questions about your editing experience, we'd love to help you at the Teahouse, a friendly space on Wikipedia where experienced editors lend a hand to help new editors like yourself! Hello, Yoblyblob
Welcome to Wikipedia! I edit here too, under the username Mdann52, and I thank you for your contributions.
I wanted to let you know, however, that I've proposed an article that you started, 2024 Futsal Week U-19 Summer Cup, for deletion because it meets one or more of our deletion criteria, and I don't think that it is suitable for inclusion in the encyclopedia. The particular issue can be found in the notice that is now visible at the top of the article.
If you wish to contest the deletion:
{{proposed deletion/dated...}}
If you object to the article's deletion, please remember to explain why you think the article should be kept on the article's talk page and improve the page to address the issues raised in the deletion notice. Otherwise, it may be deleted later by other means.
If you have any questions, please leave a comment here and prepend it with {{Re|Mdann52}}
. And remember to sign your reply with ~~~~
. Thanks!

A tag has been placed on File:Lloyd Owers.jpeg requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done for the following reason:
WP:F11: File tagged as permission pending with no VRT confirmation for more than 30 days, no recent interaction
Under the criteria for speedy deletion, pages that meet certain criteria may be deleted at any time.
If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nominationbyvisiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, and you wish to retrieve the deleted material for future reference or improvement, then please contact the deleting administrator, or if you have already done so, you can place a request here. — Mdaniels5757 (talk • contribs) 14:48, 21 July 2024 (UTC)[reply]
